Boundary Commission names

The Boundary Commission proposals reconfigure two of our local constituencies. At the moment the names are just working titles, neither reflect the whole constituency.

We would be gtateful for your ideas for better names. We will pass these on to the Boundary Commission for consideration.

Proposed "Exmouth" constituency would be made from: Topsham, Priory & St Loyes in Exeter (27% of electorate) Exmouth 5 wards (36% of electorate) Rural and small towns and villages of: Budleigh & Raleigh, Broadclyst, Whimple & Rockbeare, Westhill & Aylesbeare, Clyst Valley, Cranbrook, Newton Poppleford & Harpford, Woodbury & Lympstone (37% of electorate) We are not convinced that just calling the constituency "Exmouth" reflects the area or is inclusive. Please give us your ideas for the name of the proposed constituency more space
The proposed "Honiton" constituency would include the rest of the EDDC wards, including Ottery St Mary, and the three Sidmouth wards, plus some from Mid Devon What do you think the proposed "Honiton" constituency should be called? more space
